Hi! I'm Deidra or Dee for short. I'm the one on the right, the creator of content, and the founder of I Might Be a Vegetarian. Jarrold, my best friend of 10 years, passed away from Becker Muscular Dystrophy in 2010. He greatly influenced my life to always live life to the fullest.
My ultimate goal in starting this blog is to always learn, live, and share laughter, life tips, and delicious, health-enhancing plant-based and keto-friendly recipes.
After I had to start assisting my body in healing from a debilitating illness and then adjust to life during a pandemic, I began educating myself on ways to improve my diet and create my own food sourcing sustainability, by gradually changing old eating habits and incorporating new choices to use as a foundation for a new way of appreciation and life.
I am a licensed insurance educator and producer, as well as a Pin Paws Pet Health Services affiliate, who assists people in finding the best insurance for their needs and budget. I'm also a U.S. Army veteran, blogger, and content writer for I Might Be A Vegetarian, which promotes the health benefits of a plant-based diet. I enjoy developing educational content to share healthier alternatives and the advantages of living with a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
I am an artist/owner at Tshirt Misguided and Divine Creativity by Dee, who believes that personalized artwork is far more meaningful than mass-produced artwork; these custom art creations are proudly shared with you. I enjoy making one-of-a-kind gifts and experiences that are out of the ordinary. Some of the visual mediums I enjoy experimenting with are resin, alcohol inks, acrylic paint, gemstones, glitter, fabric, mica, paper crafting, and metal.
Please be aware that my post may contain affiliate links as a courtesy to my readers. All links are for products that I have personally recommended, purchased, or used/associated with.
If you buy something through one of those links, you will not be charged anything extra, but I will receive a small commission, which will help keep the lights on and the content coming. Thank you ahead of time.
So together, let's begin and enjoy the adventure of learning to be in the world but not of it.
Live life to the fullest!
D 😊
